With traditions dating back hundreds of years, the picturesque town of Minori on the Amalfi Coast celebrate the week leading up to Easter with a candle-lit procession. The lights in the village are switched off before thousands of torches and candles are lit to accompany a parade of a crucified Christ through the streets of Minori. The ‘Vattienti’ dressed in white; sing songs that date back to the early 13th century, here are some captivating moments from one of the oldest parades in Italy.
