Personal Work

La Processione Della Desolata is a religious procession that takes place at Easter in Canosa di Puglia, Italy. 250 women dressed in black with their faces covered, follow the statue of the Vergine Desolata as they parade through the streets.

In perhaps the most evocative of Holy Week celebrations, Dario’s latest personal series beautifully captures some powerful observations of this unique centuries-old tradition.
