Feria De Agosto
The sun-baked village of Gaucín in Andalucía plays host to the vibrant Feria de Agosto, a celebration the Shaw’s stumbled upon during a recent visit and instantly fell in love with. At the heart of the festivities are women and children in traditional flamenco dresses, their ruffles and colours dancing through the streets, while men and boys on horseback parade in traditional attire. The long queue for the communal paella lunch offered the perfect setting to capture a new series. As the vivid colours of the day softened, the glow of neon lights took over, casting the village in a new kind of magic as evening settled in. Here are some of our favourites from the series.
